“When you go out to eat, you never ‘meet’ anyone”
Picture the scene: you and your family go out for a meal at a gastopub or a restaurant that serves alcohol. You step through the door are shown to a table to sit at and from then on that’s where you stay, no social interaction at all. We understand that we all get hungry from time to time, but at The Wonston Arms it was not going to become another gastropub! So we set out to to do a foody offering, just slightly differently to other pubs!
We have hooked up with a couple of highly rated pop-up street food vendors who use our beach to park up their mobile kitchen and cook for you! You guys sort your food out with them and we are happy for you to use the pub to sit in and have a refreshment or two. It’s that simple. Folk happily share tables with folk they may have not met before or seen for a long time, they chat, catch up and do what us human beings need to do – interact with each other. We are a friendly bunch here at the best little pub in Hampshire
